About Miriam Ellis

Miriam Ellis' acrylic work is currently featured in both public and private international collections. She has been honoured with numerous awards in juried competitions, including that of first place, many years in succession, at the prestigious Sonoma County Harvest Fair Art Exhibition in the California Wine Country.

The success of her public work is due, in part, to its themes of tradition, family and community. The dignity of man and his quest to step into his birthright of grace are what inspires Miriam to paint, to create, and to cling with tenacity to the belief that good will always triumph over evil.

Miriam is also a student of philology and taught the Irish language for many years. She and her husband, Liam, run a well-respected web design firm and most of their free time is spent gardening and birdwatching. See Miriam's commercial graphic art skills showcased at
